sent letter, SI cover, and large SASE on 9/3/11 to
Cliff Lee
Philadelphia Phillies
1 Citizens Bank Pkwy
Philadelphia PA 19148-5249

Rcvd the same exact preprint and Si cover returned unsigned. Like those above, on initial examination it was difficult to tell that it was a preprint. Comparison with the above posts show that it is an exact copy and thus not a real signature. Rcvd on 10/7/11

thanks again for posting ur pic...have to admit was a pretty good preprint compared to other celebrity ones i have received in the past ...atleast with both of ours other people won't mistake theirs for being a authentic signature now

It's a very fluid signature with no real start or end dots like a traditional AP but if you flip the card over doesn't show signs of pen pressure indentation which is leading to my confusion

It looks really good, hopefully it's real. You should get a magnifying glass and look close. You'll be able to tell if it's real by the beginning and ending streaks, and also there will be a darker spots where the pen first touched the paper. I'm going to see Halladay now and Cliff Lee tomorrow! Go Phillies :D

Im usually pretty good at tell the difference but this one is hard for me....also I've tried searching online and found no cliff lee stat cards at all...I even checked ebay seeing if anyone was trying to resell any

I looked at the picture up-close and its hard to tell. Was it signed in pen or sharpie? It could be stamped, as it usually fades sometimes along the signature, but I could be wrong. It's best to find out if you can find someone who had the same success to compare it to.
