Really bothers me when I read "Well, I only got three signed, so I'm going to send the other card again." $10 for three autographed cards by a HOFer isn't enough? :roll:

There's a reason why guys stop signing TTM (and IP), and I can't help but think it's because of instances like this. Just my opinion, but I say quit while you're ahead.

Hi 2012ccb1994 :)

Thank you for your feedback {up}

Would you have a scan of the envelope you received please?
If so, you are in the run for the $10 gift certificate.

I'm with ya USMC.. I was thinking the same thing when reading these replies to the post.He is very lucky he got the 3 signed. He usually sticks to the $10=1 autograph. Personally, I havent figured out why people want numerous autographs of a person, no matter the reason. I always say that if someone wants more than 1, then send them a month apart, and pay for the postage. That dollar wont break a person.

It may just be me, but at first your saying you were apparently trying to get them all signed, as you said you would try again later. Then when asked you said you were doing it for an uncle that was in the Air Force, and you just wanted to get them done as a respect thing. May just be me, but there are several 'crossed signals" i am picking up on this one, still cant believe he signed more than one thing for you.

He charges $10 per item. You should've sent $40. You were lucky to get 3 items signed... He's a HOF don't disrespect him like that

Did you send a donation?

I understand that. But the reason I did it was because I am trying to get as many of my uncle's baseball cards signed as possible. He was a pilot for the Air Force, but passed away from leukemia. So for me, it's kind of a respect thing.
I know guidelines suggest not sending more than three, but it honestly didn't matter to me whether he signed all of them, or if he signed none of them. I figured it was worth a shot. Thanks for the suggestion though.

You shouldn't send more than 3 items to be signed at once. Max.

Sent Mr. Gossage a LOR, SASE, 4 cards, and $10 on January 12, 2013. On January 29, 2013, I recieved all of my cards back, three signed, one unsigned. I'll try him again in the future and see if I can get that last one signed.
