Carla Laemmle success - November 21st, 2013
Requested an autograph via the Laemmle family website (http://www.laemmle.us) on 8/9/13, received a whole package of goodies in the mail today, 11/20/13.
We had been e-mailing back and forth about the delay, and to make up, the Laemmle family not only granted the request of one autograph, but several. And they tossed in some personalized autographs as well.
If you get a chance, see The Phantom of the Opera (1925) with the orchestral score composed and conducted by Carl Davis leading The City of Prague Philharmonic. Sometimes Turner Classic Movies will show the Carl Davis scored version of The Phantom of the Opera. Its the perfect match of music to screen.

Carla Laemmle - December 12th, 2012
I sent letter, 2 photos and SASE on Oct 26th and received both photos signed on Nov 20th. She is 103 years old and was in the 1925 Phantom of the Opera and the 1931 Dracula. Her uncle Carl laemmle was the founder of Universal Studios. I believe sigs to be authentic. The address i used was:
