I sent a letter to Johnny Depp via the Spanky Taylor Company and received a picture with an autopen signature - I was really happy to receive this one! And hey, even if its an autopen, its definitely better then a RTS or nothing!
Sent: Around May 1st
Received: May 21st

The Address used was:

Very neat! In a way, it's his autograph! ;-) :) Yes, better than a pre-print or RTS any day!
I love hearing others' opinions! However, before you start commenting, please read this carefully: I welcome opinions but will not obey orders and suggestions. So, please don't say, "Toss that in the trash," or, "Frame the autograph right away," etc. I understand that you're sharing what you'd do, but you can't make me do what you order--what I received in the mail is mine, not yours.

I'm puzzled how an autopen is better than a preprint ... because they're basically both the same. An autopen _is_ that person's signature as well - just converted to a mechanical matrix.
