i have never had any luck with Cyndi. I have tried her TTM a few times, sending photos, and either IRC's or SASE's and received nothing back but a postcard advertising a forthcoming album last year - unsigned as well. i will have to try again but I am not very hopeful................

i wrote to her probably over a year ago. i sent 3 45 sleeves and the she's so unusual lp-i actually thought i would never her back but a few months later i received all 4 items back signed and she even paid for the postage in company envelope.

Uncle already! Truce! Something...I think we ALL are missing the point of why we are on this website. It is to share successes. Period. So what if you know the celebrity? That is PERSONAL INFORMATION and does NOT have to be shared with anyone. These items were sent TTM and there was a long wait to have them returned. It is an amazing success. Period. When I started collecting back in 06, the people here were friendly and supportive and nice and respectful of each other. Since I've come back to it 5 years later, I have been discouraged and disheartened at the vicious way many posters (who are undeserving) are spoken to. Big hairy deal Cyndi knew this collector. This is a HOBBY, folks. A joy. It certainly is not joyous to read posts that out and blatantly disrespect the post-er because he/she may have inside connections. Completely out of line and disrespectful, in my opinion, to tell anyone what or how they should post anything, unless of course it is someone using this site sharing supposed successes but never seem to be able to share the actual successes and don't even know how to spell the celebrity's name correctly (ie). We should be celebrating each true success, sharing in the joy of the post-er, not dictating what they should or shouldn't say in their posts. Period.

You are better off not arguing with her. She will push to the point of saying something mean. She told me what a terrible person I was and she never argues with anyone else. I have only been a member of this site for a few months but I'm seeing a pattern with this person. I'm not inocent and I joke around/smart ass, but this is just a hobby.........I think?

yeah, just a hobby that someone takes a little too serious and in concerned too much how other people post their feedback. Forget her. just do you and I do me. Its the only way it can be. I am 'Drama Free', are you? lol. and on to the next...

Thanks. I am normally a positive post-er and try not to get too caught up in stuff like this, but she was relentless. I am thrilled for you and your success with Cyndi. I couldn't care less if you do or do not have an inside connection. This is even more awesome than my Mare Winningham success from several years ago when I wrote and told her I had a hard time finding one of her CDs. She sent the requested photo, which was personally and sweetly inscribed, and a copy of the CD I couldn't find.
