Rodney Mullen Fantastic Success!!!

On January 30, 2014, I sent two 8x10s, a LOR, and a SASE to my childhood idol, and arguably the greatest professional skateboarder in history, Rodney Mullen. I honestly did not think I would get a response but, to my utter amazement, about a week later, on February 8, 2014, I received both photos back signed with great comments and a short note from Rodney. I am stoked! He said he was too! LOL This ranks as my favorite success to date. Thanks Rodney!!!!

Thanks! I am psyched about this one. I use to skate freestyle back in the 80s and Rodney Mullen was far and away the man. And he lived only about an hour or so from me. I wrote him a pretty funny letter about my trying to get back into it again.
