TM x hayley x - moderator?

I am going to say yes. Since x hayley x would make a good mod.

But, aren't there already more than enough mods?
There are a few moderators who were promoted recently who I don't completely agree should have been (one I don't think was every a TM and the other had a poll which ended something like 11 no 0 yes.)
The # of new mods to the # of polls for new mods is completely out of proportion.

I agree...maybe we should clear out all of the mods who do not go online that much.

Larisa - I love you, dear but I'm gonna kill myself if I see another person become a mod (just kidding!). I think over the last 6 months or even more, admin has been recruiting more and more TMs and they became Mods in no time. I think it took me more than a year to become a mod and I've been asking to be a GM for a year now? I don't think I'm privileged enough now anymore since I've been busy. I agree that Haley might be a good mod - but who knows? But the system has too many mods. If it's that easy, hey, why not make every member a mod.? I don't think there should be any new mods in the meantime because everyday, I think I see a new mod.

That's a nice thought, but unfortunately we all know Admin won't clear out the old moderators who aren't active anymore. I'm pretty sure we've tried a few times and nothing has come out of it.

LOL No worries. I understand. I'm really getting sick of all the new mods popping up and that are going by without our . There are WAY too many moderators right now. Ones that don't have designated forums to help out on, ones who have been inactive for a long period of time, etc, etc. Yeah, but becoming a GM has wayy higher standards (at least it should imo) than to become a Moderator. I don't really know right now myself about Hayley. She's sweet and I have seen her helping out and she seems to have all the "qualifications" its just the whole having SO many moderators. I think also if so many TMs didn't get threw the system without a poll being put up then there'd be no problem with bumping Hayley up. Now I'm getting annoyed with everything. At least I'm giving myself a good amount of time to think things through and get everyone's opinions. Thanks for letting me know what you think, Sharon.

I agree, Hayley is one of the few TM's who's actually helping out. {thumb2} It's a "yes" from me.

But we have way too many mods - and they just keep coming! That aside, it seems all new TM's get sent to me - my team is massive now (I have 8 TM's and 8 mods). I'm just going to deny any new ones because I can't control them all. :neutral: And demote some too...

I say yes also to Haley. Although I agree the mod count needs to get lower. Inactive and unhelpful mods need to be demoted to regular members.

Hi all.

Admin had gone behind my back and added Hayley as a moderator, but I have gone and demoted her back to a TM. I feel the same as you all when it comes to there already being enough moderators for the boards. However, I'm also somewhat torn as I think she could make a good mod. I feel that its best for the time being that she stay as a TM until possibly the GM's could in a sense filter their own teams and demote any moderators OR TMs who have been inactive for a long period of time...something like I read Chrissy has done. I will be doing the same within the next few days!

If there is anyone who hasn't added their input feel free to do so.

I'm already making my "demote list", I'm goint to inform the members on my team that they could be demoted and by the weekend, I will see if their behavious has changed. But it won't work if it's only me, yourself and Chrissy - admin himself said he gave us the authority to decide who's mods and TM's, so use it.
