Met Mickie James yesterday

Long story short, I left at 1pm and got home at 11pm. Signing was supposed to be at 5:45pm but due to flight delays and traffic she didnt arrive til almost 7pm (strangely the time it was originally scheduled to finish!). Was queing from around 3:45pm, so was waiting in store for just over 3 hours, which I think is the longest Ive ever queued up?

Funny/stupid moment while waiting - TNA staff got everyone to shout and cheer, and then took photos. Later on when everyone was silent (as Mickie was late and we didnt know why) they randomly decided to FILM this silence. Umm.... no comment??

Anyway once she arrived the obvious fear was that she'd race through everybody ASAP due to how late she was, but nothing further from the truth. She took time with everyone, signed anything and everything, posed for photos, and chatted to everyone as well. Considering the 24 hours she'd had before the signing (party last night in Glasgow and someone apparently adding Whiskey to her drinks...) it was a big surprise.

She signed my 3 photos, and one of the photocards they were handing out, and posed for a photo with, which thanks to a helpful member of staff, came out a lot better than what would've been me trying to take it myself :p Will upload the photo of us when I find the cable to connect to PC...

And after laughing at the first photo she signed, she successfully managed to guess the two reasons I liked it.... "the splits?.... and my butt" :hilarious:

Finally getting back into the collecting scene again took a little time off for ttm requests. Just started up again and finally got Tenay and Taz i bought and one ttm yesterday was Linda McMahon.

Lol. Technically it was only about 4-5 hours of travel, the remaining time was waiting and delays, etc. I don't mind spending a day meeting one of my all time favs though. Travelled for 4 hours to see Bret Hart live a few years ago, and waited outside the train station all night until the morning train home came. Or alternatively I'm just insane

The username is actually not what you think, it was just the first thing that come to mind...
