Wrestling Collectors?

So, I went to a local indy show on Saturday that had Billy Gunn headlining.

The promotion was charging $10 for autographs of Billy on their provided photos and $12 (that's a random number) for photo ops. Since I didn't need any of their stuff, I cut a deal with Billy to sign 12 pics (various promos and pics I took of him at a previous show) for fairly reasonable price.

Was also checking out the table of a wrestling collectibles seller. He had some autographs.

Had like 20 Kamalas...

Five or six Scott Steiners...

And a few other somewhat easily obtainable names like Sandman, Kevin Nash, Abyss, Vampiro, Torrie Wilson, etc.

Was about to give up on his pile of autos when I spied an 8x10 signed by The Ultimate Warrior, bearing the Project Warrior hologram that is placed on items he signs. I scored the autographed pic for a minimal price.

Hi buddy, yep that's the real deal. I appreciate your concern as plenty of fakes out there but that is 100% Warriors autograph and one of our holograms.

Just got the above email in regards to Warrior from his Web site. Bought this auto for a tenth of what Warrior sells autos for on his site (do the math.) Now, authenticated by Warrior's rep via email after viewing the scan.

I'm jealous of the price you got on that Warrior autograph. Arguably one of the most well known segments on a wrestling TV show ever as well in the picture.

I attended the Smackdown house show in Des Moines on Saturday and was able to collect the following:


Michael McGillicutty - signed 8x10 and took a picture with me
Dolph Ziggler - same
ryback - same
tyson kidd - same
natalya - same
ricardo rodriquez - same
sin cara - same
antonio cesaro - same
jimmy uso - same

Alberto Del Rio, Cody Rhodes and Alicia Fox signed 8x10's of me with them from a previous encounter. I also got my picture taken with Scott Armstrong, Sheamus, Aksana, and Jinder Mahal, Johnny Curtis, and Heath Slater.

To say the least Saturday was a great day for me. I got everyone on the show except Orton, Justin Gabriel (who I already have), Jay Uso, and Wade Barrett (who refused to sign).

If you go to the direct auto signing for Impact Wrestling do they provide the 8x10's or do you bring everything yourself

Went over to the WWE Hotel tonight, got Titus O'Neill, Darren Young, Matt Striker, Kane, etc after speaking with a few of the collectors there, they informed AJ checked in at a seperate hotel that could be reached by a shuttle bus! Without even thinking, I hopped on and was on my way. After about an hour or so, a security guard approached me and asked who I was waiting for since he spotted me on the security camera. I informed him that I was just trying to get April Mendez (AJ)'s autograph. He was totally understanding and gave me the usual lowdown saying as long as you don't barge her it won't be a problem at all. Another hour later, at checkout time approximately, AJ came out of the elevator with another WWE Diva, Kaitlyn. They checked out and got a cab, as they were loading into the cab I asked AJ if she could sign, she said of course and also agreed to take a picture with me!

Nice one, great pic! Does AJ always stay in a seperate hotel do you (or anyone else) know? I was hoping to get them when they're in the UK, AJ is a priority for me, can't imagine she'd do it over here but if she makes a habit of it then maybe she would....
