Help!?? Whos autograph is this on model car? Edsel???

Help!!! I was going through my attic and found this "Die Cast Metal Collection Edition 68 Shelby GT-500KR" Made by Yat Ming. It is a 1:18 scale "handmade" model in a signature series. I cannot for the life of me remember where I got it. Theres a signature on roof. Edsel something. August 17 2001. I thought this was just a standard imprinted autograph of someone on all of the cars. Well I looked online to see what I could sell this for and there are others out there but I havent found any with a autograph on it. I finally took it out of the box and sure enough the signature does feel and look a actual person?? signed it. Any thoughts or ideas on who this is? I thought the last name could of been Shelby but Carroll Shelby had no kids named Edsel???? Help!!! and Thanks in advance.
