Hello everyone!
I just purchased another book signed by Barack Obama. I was wondering how you guys would recommend keeping it protected?
Thanks for your help! {thumb2}

I wonder the same thing.
I have 4 books that are signed and I just have them in the bookcase without protection.
My magazines on the other hand are all framed and displayed in my home office.

I just have them in my bookcase. Not really sure of any real way to protect them either.

There is probably no one correct way of doing this. Keeping the book closed will keep the signature from the light. Having it on a book shelf is OK, the only thing that can get faded is the jacket that could be easily replaced.

I have one of my autographed books sitting in a pile on my DVD rack, and the rest are all on the shelves with the non-signed books.

If you are that concerned about protecting the book, either put it in a zip lock bag, or depending on the size of the book you can buy plastic sleeves for them and tape it shut.
If you are protecting the signature, spray it with a quick shot of workable fixitive (available at Hobby Lobby or any art supply store) that prevents the signature from smearing or bleeding.
