Flatten Autographed Photos?

I just received an autographed photo from NCIS, but it was bent in half (probably from when the postman put the photo in my mailbox and because the envelope had no carboard or a "DO NOT BEND notice on the front) I love it anyways because NCIS is my favorite show, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to flatten it out a little.
Right now, I'm squishing the photo in between 3 textbooks to flatten it out, but does anyone have any suggestions as to straightening out this photo that's better than my process :D ?
Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it. :D

this happened to me once and what i did was:
put it in a HARD COVER BOOK
then put someone VERY HEAVY on OP of the book...
so it squishes it MORE... :)

easy as pie! :lol:

Yup, that's what I typically do. after a few weeks it will stay flat. you can also put it in the envelope again and put the envelope under your matress, that will keep it very flat. {up}

Another tip is bending the photo back the oppisite way then putting it between a couple of books or matress.

I just hope it will straighten out and that it won't happen again. On my SASE, I usually write "DO NOT BEND" in large, red letters, but usually my SASE is too small, so the picture is sent to me in a larger envelope, and it always happens to be bent!!! :(

First autograph I ever got was bent in half when the postman put it in my mailbox.

I printed and taped a note (covered the entire paper) to my mailbox that says "Please DO NOT BEND large envelopes to fit. Thanks."

Never got another bent envelope since. I'm sure my postman knows by now, but I leave it up because frequently someone else will be filling in for him.
