The OC Cancelled :(

Beloved teen soap The O.C. has been canceled due to falling ratings following actress Mischa Barton's decision to quit the show. The once hit series joins former Will & Grace star Megan Mullally's new chat show as the first TV casualties of the new year in America. Mullally's much-criticized show will end immediately, while The O.C. will see out its current season. The final episode of the series will air on February 22. In a statement released yesterday, The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz said, "It has been an amazing experience and a great run. For a certain audience, at a certain time, The O.C. has meant something. For that we are grateful."

wow thats suprising, I am sorry, I know how difficult it can be to have a favorite show end.

I use to be a massive OC fan but since Mischa Barton left, it wasn't the same. I'd rather it was cancelled than continue to fail and have pointless storylines. Although I can't help but feel sad as The OC was a very good show and I will miss it

EDIT: There is speculation that depending on the way the show is left, The CW (OTH's network) may save The OC.

I've never seen One Tree Hill

Could anyone give me a short plot summary?

Is it worth watching instead of The O.C ?

I have seen a few episodes of One Tree Hill, its a pretty good show. I am at school and the bells about to ring, but check out imdb.

I dont like the way the CW is running this network

One Tree Hill is an amazing show

Besides a love for hoops, it would seem that Lucas and Nathan are two young men with little in common - except for the dark secret that they share the same father.
