First, I want to say I am truly sorry for not being there for you. There are no excuses for my absence – my legal troubles, my poor choices, none of them justify abandoning my son and Gloria.
I know I missed everything: your childhood, your first dunk, your journey to becoming the incredible man, husband, and father you are today. I've watched from afar and seen the strength and resilience my mistakes helped build in you, and I am genuinely proud of the man you've become.
