My Doris Day Success!!

Hi Everyone! I wrote Doris Day a letter and enclosed an 8x10 from Teacher's Pet last July and received my photo signed, along with a brochure for her Pet Foundation, in the end of February. I can't describe how happy I was to receive a response! I have read most of the posts regarding her TTM but, still wanted to add my success to the list. It looks to me like two different people signed the picture- Doris herself perhaps?? and maybe her secretary for the Clark Gable signature? No, there was no CG on there when I sent the photo, a fun addition though!

I used the address in the database. Thanks for the feedback and let the discussion begin!

The OP said they have read the comments on authenticity, so why respond at all? everyone knows your think she uses sec. You just wanna keep stirring the pot I think. It's kinda rude to "laugh" at someone's success, yes. You don't have to edit anything, say what you want, but don't be surprised when others don't like your attitude. :roll:

Agree with nicknifty...this is a really fun success! Guess, to dancinggirl, her sec had a sense of humor to sign Clark Gable! (just like Doris! lol)

I've just blocked their post from my viewing...I can see when they write, but not the actual remark...when I saw this success laughed and rolled my eyes when I noticed their name...

Also, the Clark Gable one looks like hers to me...the "One Too" in particular resembles the way she writes other things...course, can't really compare her "Clark Gable" to another!
