To be honest, this is a surprising feedback. After sending this autograph request I realised that German stamps that I used on my SASE were not valid anymore. I was waiting until the end of 2024 (just in case a miracle happens) and I was planning to send a new autograph request with valid stamps later this month. Well, I guess I do not have to do that anymore

And yes, you are right: Unfortunately, there was a price increase in our postage at the turn of the year.

I was informed that all mail has to have new stamps with QR codes and normally those stamps without QR codes should be automatically rejected. Now I have loads of stamps with QR codes for my next German autograph requests

I have not heard of that. I think as long as you put enough stamps on the envelope to cover the increased postage, even the old stamps without a QR code are just fine.

Thanks for letting me know! Then it was a misunderstanding when I was buying new stamps in Germany. I thought it was the same as in other countries where older stamps without QR codes lost validity

Haven't heard of this either and I can assure you that I have send out a lot of postage and never used such a stamp. The "normal" ones should be fine

does someone know if I have to send pictures of tom with the letter myself or does he has his own pics to sign??

Back then I got my pics signed and he added one by himself. And I saw others who got pictures provided by him as well.

How did you do it with the envelope?
just one envelope with a stamp and your letter or one envelope in the envelope (both with a stamp, one envelope with his adress and the other with my adress so he can send it back to me)

hast du nur ein brief geschickt mit deinem text oder hast du 2 briefumschläge geschickt (beide mit ner briefmarke) den einen mit seiner adresse und die andere mit meiner damit er sie zurückschicken kann?
