Jodi Benson & Gary Maur IP success

This is my very first IP success and I am glad I noticed Jodi's scheduled performance in a GO Magazine. Even though I already have her autograph by mail last year, I just thought I use this as an oppurtunity to tell her who I am and how much I want to be a voice actor at the Disney Studios. The event is from the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and it is called "Beyond Fantasies and Fairytales: An Evening with Jodi Benson and Gary Maur." It took place at the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall at the Von Braun Center last night. Jodi did, of course, sing her signature song, 'Part of Your World'. At the beginning of the second half of the show, she came up on stage carrying an Auburn t-shirt and a pompom. Then she was kind of funny realizing that there might be some Alabama fans in the audience (which of course I am) and she put Auburn stuff away. After the show I got in line and finally came up to her and introduced myself and told her who I am and she somehow remembered being one who asked for her autograph by mail and I told her how I hope and pray that I will someday join the Disney family in voice acting. She signed my program book and so did Gary Maur. I even told her myself that I am an Alabama fan but that I can somehow respect her being an Auburn fan and then she asked if we can still be friends and I gladly said, "of course". Before I left, I shook her hand and gave thanks and said, "God's peace be with you." HALLELUJAH!
