As far as I know, this has just been confirmed at Cannes Film Festival. All I have been able to find about the film is that is it said to begin filming sometime in June (next month) in Louisiana. Haven't found specific dates or an address yet. Will keep looking...

i'd love to know an address to. it says it's gonna film in Louisiana so I'm guessing it's the Shreveport address..

I found this info: "Millennium Films will make its fifth feature film in Shreveport. "Major Movie Star," starring Jessica Simpson, will begin production in mid-July. She also shot "Blonde Ambition" in Shreveport with Millennium earlier this year."

Here is a little blurb on Jessica being in the film:

Jessica Simpson has landed the title role in the comedy MAJOR MOVIE STAR, about a pampered actress who joins the military to prove that she can star in a big war drama. Director Steve Miner (Lake Placid) starts filming next month in Louisiana.

I haven't found an address in Louisiana yet, but hopefully one will show up soon.
