Jim Norton (b.1938) is an Irish actor best known for his role as Bishop Len Brennan in the Anglo-Irish sitcom Father Ted. The character was the title protagonist's worst enemy. Although based in England for many years, Norton also had acting roles on TV dramas in his native Ireland, most notably the crime dramas 'Making The Cut' and 'Proof'. He even guest starred in an episode of the sci-fi series 'Babylon 5'.
