The Letter I Use For Charity Collecting

Dear .............

My name is Steffi Parsons and I am 15 years old.

I am collecting autographs for a local charity, the Warwickshire Air Ambulance. The autographs will be donated to the charity auction for this December and I would be very grateful if you would sign the enclosed picture for the auction.

The Air Ambulance needs £100,000 a year to run, but due to the London bombings this year; they need £200,000 because they flew to London to aid the victims.

If this is possible, I am sure it would be greatly received.

All the best

Steffi Parsons

PS: Enc

Here I have mentioned what charity I am collecting for, I have mentioned how much money they need and I have provided a picture for them to sign. It's best to say what charity you are collecting for and why because it may seem like you are pretending to collect for a charity and keeping the autograph for yourself.

Hope this helps {up}

Thanks Steffi!

I am thinking about doing an auction around Christmas time for Child's Play (everyone should Google that one.) and wanted to get some video game memorabilia autographed and your form letter will definitely make things a lot easier for me.

Mike

EDIT: Fixed spelling.

Rather than start another collection charity for leukaemia, why not contact an existing one and help collect for that?

Best of luck,
