Boy Bands

So I was going through so stuff the other day, and found a bunch of old autographs from a few years ago. Like when Britney Spears was new and NSync was still around. I have a ton of autos from what people would call boy bands and other pop stars around that time. Just wondering but did anyone else collect around that time and how old were you? I was between 14-16.

I only started getting in to pop music in 1996 and I didn't collect ttm back then but last year I went to a convention and met/got autographs from H & Lisa from Steps, Bradley McIntosh and Toyah. I also met 5ive, 911 and Dane Bowers but I didn't get autographs from them.
I was a young teenager when they were big. I was 12 when I started listening to pop music and about 14 when I realised it was actually pretty crap lol! (Didn't stop me listening to the top tunes of 1998 on TMF this afternoon though! )

I love the backstreet boys but I didn't get their autographs in the 90's. I got 4 of 5 last year from a friend.

I was just curious, I really dont' care about any of them anymore. I had ones like NSync, 98 Degrees, No Authority, C-Note, Youngstown, and them some that weren't groups like Bosson, Britney Spears, Aaron Carter, Jordan Knight, Deberah Gibson. I just found them the other day and was thinking about if I wanted to keep any of them or give them away. Did you guys keep yours?

I wrote to the Backstreet Boys in 1998 and only after a year & a half they took the trouble of sending me a rubbish preprinted autograph back - which I threw away years ago. When I look back on it I cringe that I actually liked them, their music's awful! I still love Westlife though *cough*, and I've only got a personalized authentic from one member.

I don't think I'll ever regret loving BSB. I have since I was 11 and I'm 21 now and still love them. I think their music is awesome.

I don't think that it's so such regreting liking their music for me as, I use to go to concerts all the time. For a ton of different groups. I would skip school and go. If they were within a 6 hours drive for certain groups I'd go. One time a friend of mine called me and asked if I wanted to go see NSync at Epcot, his mom worked there so she us two VIP wrist bands. It was the next day, I drove all night to get down there. I look back and I'm thinking wow, I was insane.

I cringe when I think about the music I listened to as a teenager! I'm so proud of the country music and big band stuff I listened to as a kid and I don't know what happened to my tastes when I hit puberty lol!
Anyone remember these cringe-creepers? I was mad about this song when I was about twelve, now it makes me want to curl up and die! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1_muIb3dvU
