Hey every1 this is my first time posting. I wrote to Mr Ripken on 3/19/08 recieved a letter back today 3/29 the letter was addressed to me and even said dear chris. It went on to say he couldn't reply to all autograph requests and hopes I understood. The only problem I had with it was if he's having someone send these letters out personalized why not just make up a bunch of PP's and send them out. I think people would be happier with a Cal Ripken Jr. PP than a letter denying their request. Does any1 have any thoughts?

Sorry about that! I am not personally a Ripken fan but I am a baseball fan so...I feel your pain! lol.

I agree: I would rather have a nice PP rather than a piece of paper denying my request. That's just me. What about other people??

I figured Cal Ripken wouldnt sign due to he gets so many!
I dunno which I would rather have as they both are a dissapointment!
I would rather have a PP I think.

I agree with you. They should put some effort into making PPs and sending them out to fans and make them happy rather than sending out letters, which leave them dissapointed. It would be just as easy to send out a PP. I'm sorry about that! I hope one day you can get a success from him!
