15? Sounds way too young.

17 in the UK...for however long that lasts. cos obviously all road accidents are caused by 17 year olds, therefore the driving age should be raised and no-one will die on the roads ever again...
ah well. doesn't affect me any more. finally passed the thing

Yeah it's crazy. Most think it's 16. All depends on the state.

In Michigan it's 14 and 7 months to take Segment 1, 16 for your permit and Segment 2, after Segment 2 you must accumulate like 50+ hours of driving with someone over 18 to apply for your Level 3 license and road test. And then 18 for official license with no limits.

Man I lived in Ohio before. If we just moved up to Michigan I could get segment... 1. What is that?

Well, the high school I go to offers drivers training after school. I'm in Segment 1 now...it's where you get your Level 1 license. After you get that, your allowed to drive with someone over 18 with a valid license. Once you drive for 30+ hours you can apply for Segment 2 for your Level 2 license. Once you get that, you need 20+ hours with an adult, and now with night driving. Then once thats accomplished you can apply for the road test which is like $55 per time you take it, to get your license. And when your 18, you take another test, for your license again, but this time without any restrictions.Skye wrote:Man I lived in Ohio before.
