I got my personal BEST autograph back today and am still in awe! I have been trying Meryl for the past 2 years at every venue, but with no luck. This time, I sent my dvd cover from The Devil Wears Prada that was previously signed by Anne Hatheway. I thought I would never see it again!

I really hope this one works. I would really hate to miss out on such an amazing opportunity! I had the photos made up around the middle of Dec. but I wasn't able to get them until February 9 because I was using my brother's Costco account and I had to wait for him to get them for me.

I was so worried I would miss out on this one. I mailed it off on February 11. I know they will be shooting until February 29 so I am crossing my fingers now and hoping! The Mirimax address obviously passes on fan mail. I wonder if the other one does. If not, I am going to be so hugely disappointed. I have been told it is really hard to get her autograph, and hers is one that I would definitely love to have in my collection!

She is such an amazing actress!

If they send my photos back to me unsigned I will just try the next venue address, the next time she is making a movie, I guess. I will just keep trying. kasper01 didn't get a response for two years!

Also, I remember one more thing that I did (it may or may not be important), but on the outside of the manilla envelope in the lower right hand corner I wrote a small message to catch Meryl's eye. It read something like this "**Please Do not Bend - DVD cover enclosed w/A.Hathaway sig already). Maybe that lured her to open it, who knows..., but it worked
