When did you start collecting?

Just out of curiousity, how old is everyone and how old were you when you started collecting?
I'm 14 and the first time I sent a letter was when I was 13, but I didn't start really collecting until a couple months ago.

i am 17 soon to be 18 and i recently started collecting in the begining of may =) but i have had a few successes before i got into collecting.

I'm 15 and I started collecting about 8 months ago!
I think my first reply was when I was 8 and I got a PP from Jim Carrey but it wasn't serious as I only wanted his back then!
