Johnny Depp AP Success - With Pic

I sent a letter and photo to my all time favorite actor Johnny Depp, knowing I would only get an AP, but I wanted to add an 8x10 Jack photo to my POTC collection. (My Charlie and the Chocolate Factory autographed card makes up for not being able to get a real one through the mail anymore...)

its people like the "authentic personalized" one for johnny depp that ruin it for everyone else. i thought i'd be able to get an authentic but got that ruddy ap picture that everyone else gets. great success though (sorry for the grumbling)

And yes, it was just nice to get my photo back with at least a representation of his auto...maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to have the opportunity to get one in person.

Just out of curiosity how do you get those authentic autograph cards? i noticed you have johnny depp's and i've seen a couple of people with them so i was just wondering how to obtain one

I bought a box of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" trading cards by Artbox - autograph cards of several of the cast members were randomly inserted into the packs (there were also prop and costume cards) - I managed to get really lucky at a time when I really needed something to smile about. Johnny's authentic auto card was in the very first pack I opened out of the box!
