Another member posting fake successes (with proof)

Post by RuleroftheWorld »

Claiming he received Dan Akroyd signed pics - http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=75689

The problem is, the SASE was postmarked BEFORE he says he sent it - http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/164/scan10038pv2.jpg

Its not a mistake either, this member has been banned on several other accounts where he posted numerous fake successes.

Can we please get a ban again on this guy? It ridiculous hes allowed to lead members on so many times yet gets chances to clean up his act, then does it again.

I agree that it seems a bit fishy. Well spotted Andy! {thumb2}

I agree. I noticed that also. It's kind of weird. I don't think that that is possible of "just happening".

Do you mean that he used a random envelope he had in the house and then forged the autograph? That seems pretty careless :( Well spotted :D

Hes doing it again guys.

http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=76130

He claims he got an authentic Kelsey Grammer. Kelsey only sends PPs, and if you look closely at the "autograph" you can clearly see wobbles and breaks where the faker has been copying the autograph from another source.

I may not be able to "prove" 100% here, but this guy has a history of faking, and applying common sense here is surely proof enough to ban this guy (again)?

yeah that kelsey grammer photo looks a bit fishy. however, i wouldn't rule it out completely. the only reason i say this is because it was sent to a via venue address, so there's a chance that it's real.

that via venue address is to the fox publicity office, which to my experiance has never worked. but it doesnt matter, I dont think anything will be done. weve complained about this member many times and it hasnt helped

Its not fair on other members though, who will see his "successes", and then try the address themselves only to be disappointed. The fact we're not allowed to outright accuse him on the board just makes it worse, as no one will see the truth.

I agree with you Andy :(. It's ridiculous to let members post obvious fake successes (especially with overwhelming proof). Unfortunately nothing is ever done about it :shock:.
