Hiya! i'm new to this site and i was just wondering how you send an autograph request thorough e-mail?? do you just write your address and a message and do the celebs actually read it?? Thanks!! x

With Studio Fanmail, I don't think the celebrities actually read the emails, so theres not really any point in writing anything special. I usually just put something along the lines of;

"I am a big fan of ........ PLease could you send me a picture to the following address."

If you email via their official website or something though, it might be different, as they may read the messages. Thats the thing with email requests - you never quite know if it'll be the celeb themselves who read it, or if its just sent to an office somewhere, so its difficult to know exactly what to put. It seems a bit weird to think you've said how much you like someone's work and it'll just be read by a random person, so thats why I prefer letters.

just write what u would write like a normal letter. and add ur address on the bottom

What I have done, just incase the celebrities read it or if the office forwards it to the celeb, etc is something like

"Hey I'm a big fan...I particularly like *name of song, episode, movie, etc.*...I think your a great *actor, singer, etc.* and would like to know if I could please get sent an autograph at the following address..."

Even if the office reads it, they'll know to send the celeb's autograph and not the office manager's autograph, lol.
