Is it OK to write a request on an index card?

Honestly if you are going to take the time to write someone then I would recomend writing it on stationary. However, a request is a request and I coulden't imagine someone not honering a request simply because it was writen on somthing that wasent "paper" but it is your call. Hope that helps!

I write on lined paper most of the time, and still get many responses.

i either hand write it on normal paper or type it

Hi
Since Index Cards are so small, I would recommend that you write on Lined A4 Paper or type on A4 paper.

Sometimes I include a index card for them to sign, but never write a request on it.

The same here- If I think that the celeb may not have a photo, I send a card.
