On 9/29/06 I sent Shakira a SASE, 2 8.5"x11" photos, and a letter requesting that she autograph the 2 photos. On 10/5/06 I received my 2 photos back unsigned in my SASE.

Nope, I only received the photos back. No note or letter explaining why they weren't signed. I guess I will try via venue.

That reply seems kind of rude. They should have at least sent you a note telling you that she couldn't sign because she was busy, or whatever. Maybe if you try VV you will have better luck.
