I think anywhere from 1-3 is appropriate. I once sent 4, but that was only because I had no hopes at all of actually getting them back.

I agree, 1-3 is best.

We sent to Hilary Duff 6 photos and she returned us 4 signed photos.
And I sent to Jared Padalecki 4 photos and he sent me back the 4 signed photos :D

Dear purpleyes,

I agree with tinker_mel and Joey. Anywhere from 1-3 photos is appropriate IMO. To send more photos would be kind of greedy.

Best,
Stephan

why send more than one anyway?
Sending more than one photo to be signed just seems like your wanting to sell them on ebay or something.

I have sent four once ( to Edward Speleers) because it was my seventh request and I was starting to get frustrated.

I do agree with other members that anywhere from 1-3 is an appropriate number.

I also believe that sending 1-3 photo's is appropriate. Sending too many photo's might make the celebrity believe that you might be one of those people who only want to autographs to sell on EBAY. And, believe you me, there are people who write to celebrities & send a lot of pictures who only want to sell them on EBAY.

I do autograph collecting for fun & not for money but there are people who only do autograph collecting to sell them on EBAY.
