I technically have. I wasn't hired for it though.

Ah, the beauty of a non-closed set.

I was in Starship Troopers. "In" being defined as I went out for a night of filming and may be way in the background during a few frames.

I just remembered that the biggest thing about it was getting to attend the premier here in town. Casper Van Dien and Denise Richards were there. Maybe Dina Meyer and Michael Ironside too. Not sure.

And during the filming some of the crew were complaining about being out here stuck in a small town (50,000) and wanting to get out of here. They were at the airport bitching and one of them said something about having a bomb. This was pre-9/11 but they still took things like that seriously. Shut down the whole flight and brought in a bomb sniffing dog from Cheyenne. Of course no bomb but they did bust a guy who was smuggling some fireworks back.

I was an extra in some commercials with famous Swedish actors, 2 Swedish police movies with Mikael Persbrant who is a really big name here, and even replaced one of the leading roles for additional scenes (driving around, walking into a restaurant, etc etc) in a TV sitcom that was very popular at the time. (Hint for you Swedes here - the actor/comedian I replaced is now married to the leader of one of our biggest political parties....)
