I don't have any autographs like that but I would have loved to have Leon Askin. Did you write him sometime or did you meet him before he died?

I actually had sent him an email about a year before he died. He was always a great signer.

Wow! Now I wish I had written him even more. :o

I loved Hogan's Heroes, but i just assumed he had passed away years ago. Then I read his death announcement. I have been slapping myself over that one for a while. :?

Deceased Autographs

Post by durstie »

I was just reading the message board about deceased autographs and then I remember that I met Anthony Perkins IP back in 1986 when he was in San Francisco promoting Psycho III. He signed my scrabook I will scan it and post it in a few days.

I had forgotten about meeting him.

I had;
Bob Hope from IP from the '60's ( my first auto I was around 8 or 9 years old) (Cannot find auto got lost after parent passed)
Louis Armstong and his band sold after getting laid off in '04 (Darn it, gotta do what you gotta do)
George Wallace and Richard Nixon, lost both of them in Mexico City Earthquake in '85

I have;
Dale Earnhardt,Sr (NASCAR driver)
Rick Hendrick (NASCAR)

I know I have some baseball players that are passed away but I cannot think of them now.
