True but then by the time I'd bought a decent pic and then sent to the US (I know he has a UK address but I doubt he's ever over here anymore) it'd probably cost the same, or more, and it's at least £15 to get his sig at a Con, so seemed like quickest and easiest option all round.

Absolutely, its a nice autograph and likely the best way to obtain it so deffinately a good success.
