One of the best successes I've gotten in recent memory. I added him to my set of Yankees coaches from the 1996-2001 Dynastic Years along with Randolph, Cardenal, Arias, and Chambliss. I still need Gary Tuck, Lee Mazzilli, and Hall of Famer Joe Torre to complete the coaching staff. I know Mel has been battling cancer again as of late, and I wish him all the best.
