Issue With Money

Hi. Advice please!
I sold an autograph to someone and agreed to cash through the post at their own risk. They sent it in a plain envelope, which is ridiculous, and the coins tore through. Long story short, only £10 (a note) of the £17 they sent arrived. I have told them this and said I would send the autograph anyway because I was in a good mood but that I was really annoyed. They were rude back, and they don't seem to care that I have lost money because of them. They have stated they will continue to send money in this way. So this could happen to someone else!
