That's an amazing card. Even better that he signed it. Congrats on your success. Mr. Doerr is one of my favorite players to write. Even though many are against writing people numerous times, Mr. Doerr loves signing for as many people as he can. That much I know from my interview with him several years ago (I used to write for a sports newsletter in Houston). He has signed jerseys, caps, mini helmets, photos, balls, cards and even a portrait I drew of him, all for my "museum". He loves hearing from his fans, like Virgil Trucks did (my #1 favorite...R.I.P.). I hope Mr. Doerr is aroud fro at least a few more years. There aren't too many players of his caliber left anymore, especially HOFers.
