Sent a LOR, 2 7x5 photos and a SASE on Tuesday 6th November 2012, and received my two photos signed today - Monday 12th November.

Loved his documentary "Frozen Planet", and the weasel picture was just too amazing that I had to send it as well!

Yup! He only took 6 days too -- but he sent it on the 10th, so I guess he answered it the day he got it!

If you want a personalised one I might recommend putting a sticky note on them; I wish I'd done that now

Oh well; I might write to him in a few weeks and ask for some personalised ones, and send him an Xmas card too!

Amazing, I struggle to think of people to send requests to because I'm not a huge idoliser of celebrities. However this guy is a real legend. Thank you for reminding me of him, I am writing up a letter as we speak.

If anyone is reading this who is unsure who David Attenborough is, you know that British voice everyone does when they are impersonating wildlife documentary narrators... they are imitating this man. He is one of the greatest naturalists in history.
