I sent my request out recently (11th Sept) so I have my fingers crossed and your success gives me hope.
As to what he wrote on that second line, I am not too sure. It looks a little bit like "best wishes always".

If I decipher each word individually, it kinda looks like Ever, Best, Always. But idk, it's hard to tell. haha
