Pat Shortt - Irish Comedy Star - Success!

Pat Shortt is an Irish comedian, actor and comedy writer. He first came to prominence as one half of a comedy duo called 'D' Unbelievables' in the early 1990s. He later went on to greater roles such as the crazy Tom in 'Father Ted' and roles in films such as Man About Dog and The Guard. He is perhaps best known for two popular comedy shows on Ireland's RTÉ, the classic 'Killinaskully', in which he plays various characters and 'Sgt. Mattie' , a police comedy in which he played a rural cop transferred to a troubled Dublin precinct. Currently starring in a series of ads for insurance firm One Direct. He is also developing a third comedy series for RTÉ.
