I sent a LOR, an 8x10 photo and a SASE on January 19, 2011 to this address:
TMB Productions
P.O. Box 176
Palisades, NY 10964
Today I received the photo I sent signed and personalized by John Linnell and John Flansburgh of They Might Be Giants. I have been a fan of theirs for a long time, and am thrilled with this success. I always appreciate opinions on authenticity.

Re: They Might Be Giants Success
An AMAZING success!! TMBG are one of my favourite bands - I was going to write to them years ago, but I kindof took a break from the hobby ... My favourite songs are Ana Ng and Don't Let's Start, and only the other day did I start watching Malcolm in the Middle again; their soundtrack through each episode is the best thing about the show!!
Just one question about the address you used- was it TMB Productions, or TMBG Productions ? I'm definitely writing to them now

FAVOURITE AUTOGRAPHS:
Nick Mason (Pink Floyd), The Darkness (In-Person), Kyle Gass (Tenacious D), Ian McKellen (via "the Hobbit"), Alan Rickman (via "Seminar")
MOST WANTED:
Matt Bellamy (Muse), David Bowie, David Gilmour and Roger Waters (Pink Floyd).
(if you can help - trade or sell - with any of these - please PM me!)
Feel free to check out my small (but growing) collection at http://www.james-autographs.webs.com
Re: They Might Be Giants Success
TMB Productions is correct. I saw them live when they were touring for the John Henry album, and they were amazing. I was not sure if they signed TTM so I gave it a shot. My favorites are Put Your Hand Inside The Puppet Head, AKA Driver, and I Palindrome I.
Re: They Might Be Giants Success
Better explanation from a FAQ on their web site:
Why "TMB Productions" and not "TMBG Productions?"
JF: Our first enterprise was They Might Be Incorporated which seemed clever at the time. When the second business entity was started we just stuck with it.

Haha, reasonable excuse!! I'd love to see them live if they ever came to Europe - they're on my most-wanted list to see in concert ...

I hope you get to see them someday, and good luck if you write them.
