really fast Fats Domino SUCCESS!

On March 27, 2012, I wrote rock 'n roll legend Fats Domino with an autograph request, enclosing an SSAE and 3x5 card for signing. Imagine my shock to find his reply in my mailbox today, April 4, 2012. Card was inscribed "Luck-Fats Domino." There was a sticky note attached, with "Only autograph request! Thank you!" 8 mailing days for reply..........WOW! Mailing address is

Man, that's fast! That note is interesting....it's hard to believe that yours was their only auto request! Congratulations!

I read that the same note was included on another persons return.

I've had mine out for over a month now, hope I get it back.

My guess is that the note means it is 'your' only autograph request, meaning please don't mail again. There was a hockey player that did that, he kept a database of people that requested autographs and only replied once per person. I would assume that too many people are sending too many multiple requests.

That is my guess on the note anyway.

Congrats on the auto...he is a music legend in my mind.

Yes, i'd imagine he means that's your first and last autograph request. Would be hard to imagine that was the only request he has had..
