I'm not sure which address I used. I do know that when I sent it I had no idea she had MS. Even though I am a fan I tend to avoid stars personal details as I don't think its any of my business. Anyways when I received the 2 pictures I sent to this beloved actress I was surprised by the awkwardness of her signatures. Thats when I did check and found out about her MS and a aneurism she had a few years back which must be effecting her handwriting. With this I am not only thrilled with my success but honored that she took the time to do so. I so loved her in Young Frankenstein which is perhaps my favorite Comedy of all time. I wish Cloris Leachman and Gene Wilder were signing so as to have them sign my group picture of them in the movie as well.

Wow! This is the first day I was able to post anything on fanmail. I kept getting this site is too busy or down type messages. Anyways I didnt scan the envelope as it didnt have anything of use on it and Im not wasting my photobucket space with such. Thanks.

New success. Being greedy I again asked Ms. Garr for an autograph. I normally wouldn't want to bother her again but I wanted a extra one so I could send to Mel Brooks, Gene Wilder and Cloris Leachman to sign also and in case it gets lost or tossed I still have one. Anyways here is the newest one before I send to Mel Brooks who hopefully wont send a autopen or preprint again to me.


This took about 2 weeks from address provided here on fanmail.

The signature seems better than her original. I seem to recall her using holistic measures to help with her MS. I truly hope the improved signature is a sign its working.
