Phil Mickelson Success

Unread post by hlebain34 »

On 9-16-11, I sent a LOR, SASE, and golf card to Phil Mickelson @:

Phil Mickelson
C/O Gaylord Sports Management
Attention: Phil Mickelson Fan Mail
13845 North Northsight Boulevard
Suite #200
Scottsdale, AZ 85260

On 1-12-12, I received my 2002 Upper Deck Lefty card back autographed. Kind of a long wait, but an awesome success. {up}

Hi hlebain34 :)

Thank you for your feedback {up}

Would you have a scan of the envelope and picture you received please?
If so, you are in the run for the $10 gift certificate.

I'm a big fan of Phil but I wanted to alert anyone who wants his autograph to beware of sending anything you value to the Scottsdale address on his website http://philmickelson.com/. In December 2011 I sent via certified mail a 2004 Masters flag for him to sign over a year ago. They state on the website it can take up to a year to get the autograph.

Recently I mailed two followup certified letters (one regarding my change of address) and asked for a status but it did not elicit even the courtesy of a response from them. So 1.) I'm kicking myself for sending the flag in the first place and 2.) I misplaced the certified receipt signed by them that they received the flag (but hey, I figured these folks represent Phil and so they should be honest and upfront, right?). But for anyone else, this is just a warning.

Update Feb 21, 2013. I was able to get my flag back with a little help from a friend who lived in Scottsdale. She visited the offices and spoke to someone there who apologized for the delay in getting Phil's autograph. About three weeks later I received my flag.
