I wrote Mr Kiner on Oct 8th sending a hand drawn portrait SASE and letter. I recieved the portrait back signed today Oct 17th. Used the address in the database. He dedicated it and put his HOF year on it.

Great success! He's nearly impossible to get TTM...he randomly signs here and there for no particular reason. I got him on a baseball via a sports show last year.

As always, I send a permission card asking if it was alright to send a baseball and sure enough, he agreed to sign one for me for no fee. I think me sending a copy of the portrait to him kinda buttered him up. I bought a ball signed by him on eBay (and yes, it's authentic. Matches perfectly with the drawing signature) because I wasn't sure I'd see the drawing again, but now I'll have an extra one (I bought it for the display anyway). The ball I bought doesn't have his HOF year on it so I decided to try and get one on my own. I'm also drawing portraits for Virgil Trucks and Don LArsen (of course giving them their own portraits in exchange). I find that people will sign their portraits, if they're any good...LOL, and sometimes add extras. I did one of Adam West and he sent an autographed copy of Batman: The Movie to me several years ago.
