On 5-24-11 I sent my HOF photo to Al Kaline with $25 cash. Today, 5-31-11 I received it back signed. I did not ask for his HOF year(I rarely do) and he did not put it on so he now matches Rod Carew. As far as who this goes out to next...I think I'll send it off to Andre Dawson at some time, but other than that, I may be done ttm with this for a while. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks for looking

Thank you to everyone on this site for all the help!!
that thing is coming along nicely. If money is no object, send that thing out to Carlton fisk. Ryan sandberg in the off season might be a good one also.
I did Ryno during the season and got it back pretty quick. About 3 weeks. And that was sending it to his AZ address and it being sent back to me from PA. Didn't have to pay. Just SASE.

Thanks everyone. I was thinking about Sandberg. I have an 8x10 for him that I was going to send to him. I've sent to him before and never heard back. That makes me not want to send this out to him! lol

I'm glad to hear that if you send to the AZ address it will get to him and you don't have to wait until the offseason, I may do that with my Ryno 8x10 instead of sending it to the team address...thanks

Billy Williams is a good suggestion...I've kind of had hit and misses with him with some being very very long returns. Although he appears to be a better signer these days. I'll give that one some good thought.
This year for the Angel's 50th anniversary, they have alumni throwing out first pitches and from what I hear, the alum sign autographs after that. If thats true, I may hold onto the photo because Reggie Jackson and Dave Winfield will be throwing out first pitches later in the season.

From what I've seen, he doesn't sign for free at any address anymore.
