Brad Paisley Sort of Success

I work for a non profit, free health care organization in a small town in Northeast Georgia, and we are having an action in the fall to help bring in some money to help keep our doors open. This year, we are writing to celebrities, asking if they would donate something for the auction. So far, we have received autographed photos from Paula Deen, John Travolta, and Alan Jackson. In Paula's case, she was also kind enough to send us one of her cookbooks autographed.

Using the address listed on this site, we also sent a request to Brad Paisley. On 4/7/11 we received an envelope with a photo, with "Fan Club" listed as the return address. We were sent a lovely "signed" photograph of Brad, and we were very excited.

Unfortunately, upon closer examination, it was discovered that the autograph is obviously photocopied. Which, of course, renders the photo's worth not much more than the paper it's printed on.

While I understand that Brad is a busy man, and that, in fact, he most likely never saw our letter in the first place, it makes me very sad that whoever DID receive our letter couldn't even be bothered to even forge a real signature for the cause of a charity auction.

Aww sorry to hear that. Actually Brad Paisley does really sign through the mail you just have to provide your own picture for him to sign. I have a real autograph of his in my collection now. A lot of celebs are weird like that where if you just send a letter of request they will send a pre-print or autopen but if you provide your own photo they will sign it authentically. I guess they feel if your willing to provide your photo you must be a real fan or something lol! Plus providing your own photo and self addressed envelope means the celeb doesn't have to provide anything...except a signature lol!! In fact every one of my autographs are on pictures that I have sent out for them to sign! Hope this helps!

Yes, but we are a NON PROFIT organization. We can't afford to supply things like photographs and the like. If we could, we wouldn't be asking for donations in the first place.

Sorry, no. The photo belongs to the clinic now, and I have been told that we are not to post scans or photos of our donations on to the internet, for any reason. I can't go against the Board of Directors.
