Mariano Rivera Address

Hi all,

I have never written for an autograph TTM because frankly I have never had the time or patience to do it, but I want to try it with Mariano Rivera because I hear he usually signs and he would be a cool autograph to have. I purchased a ball and a big envelope (i was told he likes big envelopes).

What address should I send to, what should I include in the package? Any other tips?

Thanks,

Mike

Hello Mike,
I did have a success with Mariano Rivera with a baseball about 1 1/2 weeks ago. SPRING TRAINING. Place a ball, blue ink pen, LOR and with a SASE folded # 0 envelope inside another # 0 envelope.

The address below is what I used.

Mariano Rivera
c/o New York Yankees
George M. Steinbrenner Field
1 Steinbrenner Drive
Tampa, Fl. 33614-7064

NOW REMEMBER I sent it to the Spring Traning in FL. Spring traning is just about over. You need to reseach the last date if you have enough time.

I don't know the success rate at Yankees Stadium.

Anyway GOOD LUCK. Let me know either way what you plan to do.

I hope I was some help.

He's right but don't send it to that Spring Training address. ST is almost over. I would try and send it to Yankee Stadium since the regular season is about to start. The address is:

Yankee Stadium
1 E 161st St, NY 10452

May take a while, but his auto is worth it.

Thanks for the speedy replies! Ill send to Yankees stadium since opening day is only a few days away.

What do you mean by #0 envelope? And in terms of mail service.. Is anything better than the other? I usually use priority mail.

Thanks!

#0 envelope is the size of the envelope. I would just use USPS. If you take it there when they're not busy, they'll help you with the package/shipping questions.

vjw0307, Thank you for your validation.

tansk1,
Here is a photo of my success with the # 0 envelpoe looks like. I bought a 2-pack at Walmart about $3.00.

I paid $1.90. I should of paid $2.24 each way. At the post office.

As vjw0307 mentioned, send it USPS (United States Postal Service), which means regular mail. You can pay for insurance. I' DIDN"T.
It sounds like a lot of work, but it realy isn't once you get it done.

Good luck!

Hello Mike - tansk1,
Any success with Mariano Rivera? I sent him a photo last month, nothing yet.

Not yet.. I sent him a ball shortly after my original post.. haven't gotten anything back yet. I'm kind of disappointed, OMLBs are expensive!
