I do not know where to put this. I am new and was curious do u have to provide a pic or item for the celebrity to autograph??

You don't have to, but you should. I always include a picture because I like choosing the one I'm going to send. Some stars require you to send a picture. And it's always good to send one, because you might get a preprint if you don't.

It can't hurt to send a picture. Most times when I've been sent something else signed they've included my picture in the reply. My own opinion is that if you don't send a pic, and they don't happen to have anything on them when they get your letter, you won't get a reply.

Lastly, never send anything that you can't afford to lose. There's no guarantee that it's ever coming back!
