I'm just bringing it up because I'm nervous about my Police Academy cast picture signed by Michael Winslow, Marian Ramsey, and Leslie Easterbrook. I found George Gaynes's home address (it's not in the database, so I took a shot in the dark) and mailed it to him on January 4, and I'm just nervous that I'll never see it again.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Yep! & I'll never do it again. Sent an 8x11 photo already signed by: Earl Hamner, Joe Conley (Personalized with greeting) & Ralph Waite (Personalized with greeting) to Richard Thomas in 2007 when he did the 12 angry men play. And I haven't seen it since. Thankfully I had doubles of all the names on other items, but really made me mad as my friend got a reply using the same address I did. :neutral:

Yeah i would never take that chance because the reward can be high yes but A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush as they say and It's better to have a small actual advantage than the chance of a greater one i think.

Yes. I tipped out my envelope on its return to find one signed photo - and not the one which I had been sending off to be multi-signed. I had to re-write to one person because that was the only item they had signed; and when I heard back from them the second time they hadn't dedicated as with the first (lost) request.
